Is Non-Vegetarianism a Sin !

<$BlogItemFeedLinks$>

Many beliefs around the globe believe Non-Vegetarianism is a sin. Vegetarian or non-vegetarian today it is more important to lead a life with Ethical food habits in this modern age.

Vegetarian or non-vegetarian all survive on various life forms in nature. In the womb we nourish ourselves on our mothers and out in this world we nourish ourselves on Mother Earth that is how God has made it. Not only we humans but all life forms are created the same way. Some of us live only on vegetation and term ourselves to be vegetarians while some eat birds, animals, fish and other life forms are non vegetarians and in some corners of earth there is absolutely no sign of vegetation and there are human who have to sustain themselves on fishes, animals and birds only so is this a sin!

Scientist Sir Jagdish Chandra Bose has done some vital research on ‘ascent of sap’ an effort to prove the parallelism between plants/vegetation and animal tissues, that plants responded to various stimuli as if they had nervous systems like that of animals subsequently many scientist around world have confirmed this theory to be true .

Vegetarians by living on fruits of the nature logically may term themselves to be pure vegetarians, the truth it is not possible naturally. The fact is every time we inhale air from the atmosphere for our survival we also inhale millions of microscopic life forms in the air invisible to our eyes, every drop of water we drink is with microscopic life in it so in our life span we both inhale and consume millions of such microscopic life’s all being Gods creation are necessary for mutual survival, ours and that of those life forms that get into our body. While our body naturally destroys most of these microscopic life forms, some survive on our body and during the process make us ill and we have take on medications to eliminate these microscopic life’s and we kill them do we commit a sin.

As it is true with us humans the same is true with animals too. When the tiny mosquito sucks blood from our body or that of other life forms they are just looking for cellular life forms in our blood they nourish themselves from these cellular lives. Same is true with plants they survive on bacteria’s in the soil which nourish them while some results in its complete extinction and humans have to resort to use of insecticides and pesticides to kill these bacteria’s harming the vegetation again is this too a sin!

There is use of insecticides and pesticides in homes, there backyard and gardens is this a sin! The need today is for Ethical Non-Vegetarianism, today there are more non-vegetarians around the globe and a lesser number of 'termed' vegetarians and to feed these non-vegetarians there are unethical production techniques and than indiscriminate killings of these birds, animals and fishes and millions of tons of such precious lives go into dumps at homes and parties just because one has no appetite or did not like the taste, or at cold storages, hotels and shelves of shops and malls because they have passed their consumption dates. Sacrifice by a precious life that is as important to the environment as our own life going a waste. For the 'termed' vegetarians same is true with life of the vegetations.

It is time both Vegetarians and Non-Vegetarians be more ETHICAL in their food habits before it is too late, food riots have already started around the globe due to shortages in production of food grains. While one is starving in Ethiopia because of shortages of food grains some where tons of grains are fed to animals with supplements so that they grow healthier and faster for the slaughter houses. While many humans are struggling for morsel many more are obese with too much food. God has already given us hints through mad-cow, bird flu and now swine flu and food grain yield going down because of excessive use of fertilizers and insecticides, today it is our duty to take a call.

Non-Vegetarians or vegetarians let us come out of this argument that eating what is a sin who is the sinner. Let us live our life more ethically and save as much precious life possible whether it is a bird, animal, fish or vegetation we have to take care of Mother Earth to make it a better place for our children.

There are so many Gods, whom should I Pray to?

<$BlogItemFeedLinks$>

In the Bhagwadpuran, Lord Yogeswar the Creator says choose an idol of any one God you have affection, love, faith in and when you pray it will be as good as praying to me or communicating with me.

Heaven

<$BlogItemFeedLinks$>

Heaven is not the final destination it is transit, even on heaven like earth kings have their own cartel and they look down upon people not so rich, even those not so rich look down upon the poor.

Then why all harp about heaven in return of good karma?
Your child is unwell and you have to give him a bitter medicine, if he refuses to have the same, you tempt the child with a candy, similarly taste of some good karmas are bitter e.g. the taste of TRUTH, hence God has to give the temptation of Heaven in return of good Karma.

The final destination should be 'Moksha' an end from the cycle of birth - death - rebirth, an eternal life in the company of the Lord himself.

Unhappiness, Why?

<$BlogItemFeedLinks$>

Man forgets that when he strives for happiness it has an opposite reaction, he begets sorrows. Take for example WEALTH it is very difficult to get it, once he attains wealth through his efforts (undergoing hardship/sorrows) he strives further to accumulate more wealth (undergoing further hardship/sorrows), he is in constant fear of loosing his wealth (undergoing hardship/sorrows) to retain it. The loved ones and relatives for whom he slogs and strives for become the cause of more sorrows because of the same wealth. Finally when the body and the soul depart ways he leaves the wealth, house, loved ones and materialistic gains behind and has to make the journey ahead alone on the basis of Karma .

Man who want real joy and happiness should realize that the reaction of our efforts for materialistic gains is opposite the more he strives for materialistic happiness he gets unhappiness and sorrows.
